Volunteer
Liberty welcomes and appreciates our amazing volunteers! We ask that you adhere to the guidelines set by the Paradise Valley School District. Volunteers are required to review the Volunteer Handbook.
Classroom Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer in the classroom, you must:
- Complete and sign a new Volunteer Application and Agreement each school year
- Sign in and wear a volunteer lanyard so it is visible at all times
- Remain in sight of certified staff at all times
- Sign out at the end of each visit and return the lanyard
Field Trip Chaperones
If you would like to be a chaperone on a field trip this year, you must:
- Complete and sign a new Volunteer Application and Agreement each school year
- If you are chosen by your child’s teacher to be a chaperone the school office will notify the district office
- Human Resources Department will contact you with scheduled times to complete paperwork for a background check and/or fingerprinting (if necessary) two to three weeks prior to the field trip
- Once the background check is complete and you have been cleared to chaperone we will notify your child’s teacher

Volunteer in Paradise (VIP)
An award-winning program that invites members of the community to support student success by providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring in reading and math. This volunteer program cultivates respectful and meaningful relationships to support high expectations and a culture of growth.
